A long, long time ago and essentially true


Denne boka har to parallelle handlingar som går føre seg i "gamle" og "nye" Polen. Ein mann med kallenamnet Spurven forelskar seg. Ei jente med kallenamnet Baba Yaga skildrar si oppleving av Krakow. Dette er veldig enkelt fortalt, og høyrest kanskje ikkje så spanande eller annleis ut. Men eg vil at de skal lesa boka og oppdaga handlinga sjølve. Denne boka fortener det.

"Anielica watched the figure disappear into the woods, the corners of her mouth creeping upward, cocking the bow that would eventually logde the arrow securely in the Pidgeon's heart."
